Citizens for Juvenile Justice (CfJJ) is an independent, non-profit, statewide organization working exclusively to improve the juvenile justice system in
CfJJ, convenes, conducts research, and educates the public on important juvenile justice issues. Over the next 2-3 years, CfJJ will work on 2 primary issues: reducing racial disparities in the juvenile justice system and enhancing community-based services and opportunities to reduce the current over-reliance on confinement. In addition to collecting data and sharing information with the public, CfJJ will advocate for policies and practices that will address these critical issues, as well as to continue to respond, particularly as a catalyst and convenor, to critical needs and opportunities in the juvenile justice system as they emerge.
