There is also a growing campaign for US ratification of the Covenant on the Rights of the Child (CRC). The CRC contains many provisions of particular relevance to juvenile justice.

Sex Offender Registries
There has been a movement to place all youth convicted or adjudicated with a sex offense on the federal sex offender registry. In most cases, youth would be subject to notification requirements and would be remain on the registry for life.
